The model PSM-520 pressure switch is an electro mechanical instrument that senses changes in pressure and provides electrical on-off contact at predetermined pressure values.
The PSM-520 may be used to energise an alarm or directly control the process by cycling pumps, shifting valves etc. In an alarm application, the switch supports valuable equipment by signalling an alarm. In direct control applications, the switch can be linked electrically to other equipment.
PSM-520 pressure switches are designed for use with oil, water, air, steam and other non-corrosive pressure media. They are not suitable for use with refrigerant gases. This pressure switch is cost-effective and used in a wide variety of applications such as pumps, compressors, turbines, lubrication systems and condensers.

Model PSM-530 pressure switches are essentially designed for on off pressure control applications such as air compressors or water pumps to control their working between the minimum and maximum setting values. At the maximum setting value, pressure switch contacts open and stops the motor. At the minimum value, pressure switch contacts close and start the motor.
A diaphragm senses the change in pressure and actuates a triple pole contact switch, which enables control of 3-phase motors. The set point (cut-out pressure) and reset point (cut-in pressure) are adjusted by a range screw and a differential screw.
A pressure relief valve (unloader valve) to relieve the pressure locked at the compressor cylinder head is available in model PSM-530.

Indfos Type MP thermostats are used to control temperature in refrigerated spaces. These thermostats use simple and sturdy operating mechanism and are enclosed in a dust proof mild steel casing. The cut out and cut in temperatures can be set independently and the device has clearly read setting scale.

Type MP is a single pole double throw (SPDT) pressure control for refrigeration compressors, using R12, R22, R40 & R717 refrigerants.
Low Pressure Control : Type MP1 series is connected to the suction side of the refrigeration plant. The control device makes the circuit to the compressor motor or motor starter when the suction pressure has risen to a preset value, and breaks the circuit when the pressure has dropped to another preset value.
High Pressure Control : Type MP5 series is connected to the discharge side of the refrigeration plant. The control device breaks the circuit to the compressor motor or motor starter when the condensing pressure exceeds the preset value, due to failure of air circulation or cooling-water supply, and it makes the circuit when the pressure has dropped to another preset value.
Combined High and Low Pressure Control : Type MP15 series is connected to the discharge and suction sides of the system. The control device is a combination of Type MP1 and Type MP5.
Differential Pressure Control : Type MP55 is used as a safety device on pressure lubricated refrigeration compressors, where under any operating conditions the lubricating oil pressure has to be kept higher than the suction pressure or crankcase pressure. The bellows marked OIL is connected to outlet side of compressor or at discharge from crankshaft lubrication system. This element measures the lubricating oil pressure P1. Bellows marked LP is connected to the compressor crankcase and measures the crankcase pressure P2.
Differential Pressure (P1P2) is the pressure available for the lubrication system. If during start up, differential pressure fails to reach the set value, or if during operation differential pressure falls below the set value, the control device breaks the circuit to compressor motor after an allowable time delay. Once the circuit is broken, it has to be reset manually by pressing the reset knob.

ETR thermostats are manufactured to perform in high temperature ambient and prevailing in the industrial units.
The power element assembly that actuates the switching mechanism is a sealed thermal system comprised of a bellows and a temperature sensing bulb and capillary tube. The power element system is filled with a liquid / vapour charge selected for the specific application.
Variations in temperature at the bulb (sensing element), cause changes in the pressure within the power element, which in turn actuate the switching mechanism to open or close the desired electrical circuit. Potential free changeover contacts rated for 16 Amp, 250 V AC are provided for switching and control purpose. A graduated scale allows the user to set the actuating temperature accurately. For corrosive media, viscous fluids and slurries, RT pressure switches perform well in conjunction with diaphragm type chemical seals.
RT Series of Temperature Switches have a vapour filled thermostatic element, which consists of a sensing bulb, capillary tube and a bellows element. The entire element contains a charge which reacts to temperature variations at the sensing bulb, so that pressure on the bellows increases on rising temperature. The bellows movement due to this increase in pressure is utilised to operate the switch.
Available in various ranges to control temperature upto 300 Deg C, with high over temperature limits. RT temperature switches are available with a selection of capillary lengths. The vapour filled system features small bulb sizes making installation easy.
