Rectus series 21 nickel plated brass mini industrial quick release couplings – the worlds most commonly used profile and suitable for compressed air and a wide range of liquid and gaseous media.
Nominal bore size is 5mm and the flow rate of this series is 700 litres/minute (compressed air with 1.0 bar pressure drop).
One handed operation - to connect simply push the plug in as normal. To disconnect pull back the sleeve to release the plug.
This coupling is a ''single shut off'' type which means that when the coupling and plug are separated the air in the plug side is vented to atmosphere. The coupling should always be fitted on the upstream side of the air flow.
The coupling and plugs are available with BSP Parallel male or female threads or with a hosetail.

By using vertical plug inserts, the cooling connection can be installed directly in the mold / machine, so the external contour has no protruding extension components. This allows easy and safe handling during the work process and prevents damage to the coupling and the mold.

Parker Rectus 200KL Seris Leak-free coupling systems for block/plate assembly in sensitive environments, for example in analysis technology, in cooling systems, in transport systems and many applications with aggressive media. In the case of block assembly, a special sealing system ensures an optimum seal. Extremely low leakage rate and minimum dead space volume.
Absolutely no air pockets when coupling and a barely noticeable film of the medium being channelled on the valve bodies when uncoupling. Low coupling forces. Valve body protected with collar design.

Block/Plate Assembly
As required, the couplings can be assembled directly on a block or a plate by means of locking rings. In the case of block assembly, a special sealing system seals the couplings directly in the block. For maximum flexibility, all nominal sizes can be selected and combined as desired. The couplings are installed on floating bearings, which facilitate optimum balancing in the case of axial deviations.
Leak-Free Design
Our leak-free coupling systems are fitted on couplings and male plugs with special valves and no dead space volume. Together with the double O-ring seal, on the side of the coupling, they prevent leakage of even the smallest quantities of the medium being channelled. These systems are particularly suitable for aggressive media or in sensitive environments e.g. such as cleanrooms.
